Full Day and Half Day Tours

Besides enjoying the amazing beaches and unmatched snorkeling and scuba diving, there are plenty of other amusing activities to enjoy several days of adventure, fun and excitement in Roatan. Full day and half day tours available for small groups departing on selected days from West Bay hotels.

There is plenty to choose, from some easy and interesting sightseeing tours that makes you discover one of the most secluded areas of the island still not affected by tourism, up to some more intense activities such as canopy tours.

Visit to “The Iguana Hideaway” where you will see many giant iguanas going freely around you, some of them are more than 3 feet long.Visit panoramic view points for some gorgeous photos, and spend some time along with the locals at “Yubu Experience” where you will watch the Garifunas (descendants of African slaves who settled here in 1797) performing a traditional dance at the sound of their drums, and also taste the crispy typical yucca bread, treasure of the Garifuna tradition, called “Kazabe”

Experience the Mayan Eden Eco-Park, a nature park in Roatan that brings you back to the ancient world of the glorious and mystical Mayan culture. While hiking along the Ocelot mountain walk-path, you will see replicas of many ancient Mayan sculptures, from the Copan archeological ruins.

Spend some 2-hours of a panoramic cruise onboard a replica of the famous Black Pearl pirate boat. While the Captain and crew, all dressed in their finest pirate attire, will welcome you aboard, show you the boat, and entertain you with stories of the pirates that visited Roatan centuries ago. You will watch the pirates climb up to the crow’s nest in a mock pirate battle and an actor resembling Jack Sparrow sword fighting with another pirate!

And for those wanting an underwater experience without even getting wet, they can take a ride in the Underwater Paradise glass bottom boat to witness some the marvels below surface in the amazing Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.
