General Conditions

RESERVATIONS:

Must be made directly to MC Tours at our offices. Confirmation notice will be sent to you within 48 hours after having received your request. However, all booking will be cancelled or will not be guaranteed unless payment has been according to the following guidelines:

PRICES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Sightseeing transportation as specified with bilingual guide (English/Spanish), Entrance fees to visiting sites mentioned on the itinerary
  • Meals Plan when mentioned in Itinerary (01 soft drink or local beer is included per meal)
  • 12% Sales Tax + 04% Tourism Tax
  • Accommodations at mentioned Hotels
  • Liability insurance for passengers while on Tours (from AON, USA)

PAYMENT POLICY:

All services must be prepaid before date of services:

FIT PASSENGERS:

  • Must reach our bank 15 working days before arrival of passenger to Honduras.

GROUPS:

  • 10% of total invoice 90 days before arrival , 20% of total invoice 60 days before arrival
  • 20% of total invoice 30 days before arrival, 50% of total invoice 15 days before arrival
  • The Bay Islands hotels and resorts have special payment policies,which will be detailed to you on your quotation

(Please add US $ 10.00 for wire transfers out of USA & Canada and US$ 35.00 for wire transfers out of Europe)

By credit card: (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) plus 4% service.

PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE

  • Extras at Hotels, Departure Taxes (International $33.00 USD-Local $1.00 USD)
  • All services not mentioned in “INCLUDED SERVICES”
  • Tips and gratuities for porters at hotels and airports, tour guide,driver, bellboys, waiters and chambermaids
  • Travel insurance (A variety of travel protection can be purchase at extra costs)

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

FIT PASSENGERS

  • 100% refund up to 10 days before arrival
  • 50% refund up to 5 days before arrival
  • NO refund for cancellations before 5 days of arrival

GROUPS:

  • 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival
  • 50% refund up to 15 days of arrival
  • The Bay Islands resorts have special cancellation policies,which will be detailed to you on your quotations

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Our hotel rates are exclusively valid for tour programs and not for corporate business, conventions or seminars. Passengers not coming to Honduras on a tour program, will be charged rack rate directly by hotel, and will lose the amount paid to us. Children rates: Applicable only to children 4 to 12 years of age. Children under 4 years of age stay free (max 2 kids, 2 adults) Applies ONLY to EP accommodations. Meal Charges are applicable for all FAP programs.Responsibility of MC Tours as the operator is limited. It acts only as agent for the passenger in regard to travel whether by railroad, motor coach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance, and assumes no liability for injury,damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect, through acts of God, dangers incidents to the sea, fire,breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities,de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances,strikes, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations or from any causes beyond MC Tours’ control, or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents. MC Tours can accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes of schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any passenger should such person’s health or general department impede the operation of the services to the detriment of other passengers.MC Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any itinerary as may deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour either before departure or en route, or withdraw any tour. Baggage is carried at owner’s risk,and baggage insurance is recommended. Any disputes will be handled according to the laws governing the Republic of Honduras.
