Academic Travel
Honduras offers plenty of options for those interested in combining the travel experience with hands-on activities involving research, educational processes, and learning about nature and people from this region.
We have put together some nice travel programs that go into places and perform activities not normal in the regular tours. One of these itineraries include two weeks in the Cayos Cochinos Marine Reserve, where participants get to share accommodations, meals and time with the scientists in the very Research Facility.
In Copan we offer a one-of-a-kind Itinerary around one of the latest discoveries where students come to work day to day alongside the archaeologists and restorers. This recently studied Maya site, will allow participants to live the experiences at the same time that research is taking place.
